Two parents chosen with purpose. Thirteen puppies born against every medical prediction. These are the dogs at the center of the story.
The first generation of Alan Balmer's long-term breeding experiment. Two Belgian Malinois selected for their genetics, blessed by Guruji, and brought together with one extraordinary purpose.
Dhalia is the dog at the center of the miracle. Diagnosed with Pyometra in November 2022, given no hope of carrying a litter, and declared unlikely to ever conceive again — she defied every prognosis and delivered thirteen healthy puppies naturally on December 17–19, 2022.
She has had sheepherding training, search and rescue training, and participated in a six-week program led by St. Lucie County police officers heading the County's K-9 unit. She has also competed in Barn Hunt, where dogs sniff out live rats in protective tubes.
She was originally registered under the NVBK — a Belgian pedigree organization — with paperwork being transferred to the AKC.
Valor is a sheepherder and search and rescue dog who also participated in the St. Lucie County K-9 training program and Barn Hunt competitions alongside Dhalia.
He is a frisbee master — every morning taken out to a big field where he runs forty-yard sprints tracking down and catching frisbees for about half an hour. His talent, endurance, and drive are a constant demonstration of what this breed is built for.
Valor's health has been excellent with no issues recorded. He was registered under the AKC by the original breeder — once Dhalia's paperwork transfers, the full litter can be formally registered.
Conceived October 1, 2022. Born December 17–19, 2022. Against a diagnosis that said none of them would exist.
These are the thirteen puppies who were never supposed to exist. Each one identified by their colored collar — a tradition for tracking individual puppies in a large litter. Each one healthy. Each one born naturally. Each one a living marker of something veterinary science had never recorded before.
These dogs are not for sale. This website exists to document their story — not to offer them to buyers. They are the second generation of an ongoing long-term study in what Guruji's Blessing does across generations of a Blessed lineage.
